Environmental Manager

What you will be doing:

Obtain environmental government approvals, such as USACE 404 permits, NEPA Approvals, and Georgia Stream Buffer Variance permits.

Lead, supervise, and manage environmental aspects during the detailed design and construction.

Calculate environmental impact and track maintenance of Environmental Management Systems

Develop and implement a Comprehensive Environmental Protection Program and supervise environmental inspection staff.

Prepare the technical documents for submission to the Owner in support of Owner lead permit applications and environmental approvals.

Review the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) with the support of external design consultants for accuracy and completeness.

What you will need for this position:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university in a field related to Environmental Science

10+ years of environmental control and compliance experience in a related industry

Familiar with industry codes, OSHA, 401, 404, etc.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.

Prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments.

Preferred need for this position:

Certifications in OSHA 30 Hour, ASTM Phase I, ASTM Phase II, Wetland Delineation, and Certified Environmental Inspector (CEI)
