The HT Group is currently looking for a Project Engineer III who has experience in commercial construction for a multi-billion-dollar semiconductor expansion north of Austin. This is the largest construction project in Texas and one of the largest in the US. The Project Engineer will complete assigned engineering projects in accordance with customer specifications and within schedule and budget, coordinating activities of engineering team, contractors, and vendors.

Other assignments could include functioning as, but not limited to: Estimate Coordinator, Estimate Manager, Proposal Coordinator or Proposal Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed engineering plans, schedules, and budgets with support from assigned process and discipline lead engineers.
  • Coordinate with international engineering teams located in various offices around the globe on the technical inputs and outputs of assigned projects.
  • Effectively maintain client communications on all technical matters
  • Serve as a primary interface point with customer representatives
  • Support sales, marketing, procurement, or any other SEA team as needed.
  • Direct the day to day execution efforts producing regular status reports for review and consideration for both internal management and customer.
  • Must function effectively as the voice of internal customer.
  • Ensure assigned projects are executed accordingly on time and within budgets
  • Appropriately document project related files and results.
  • Mentor field engineers ensuring skill levels are consistent within peers.

Qualifications:

  • Ten (10) to fifteen (15) + years of experience in EPC work; minimum 5 of those years in a leadership role.
  • Blue ammonia, carbon capture, hydrogen, renewables experience a plus.
  • Working knowledge of project engineering; including both FEL-0 to Front End Engineering Design and detailed design work required.
  • Working knowledge of project execution planning, client relations, and communications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from accredited institution.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and engineering related operating systems
  • Some exposure or experience with project management strongly preferred
