The HT Group is partnering with a privately held real-estate investment company in Austin to find an AP/AR Accountant! In this role you will be supporting the accounting team accounts payable, accounts receivable, new property acquisitions, and additional accounting duties as assigned.

Direct Hire

North Austin, TX (hybrid)

Pay: $60-65k + 10% Bonus

Responsibilities

• Handle all transaction accounting for assigned properties including heavy accounts payable and some collections
• Set up and maintain lease files electronically for existing and new tenants
• Set up and maintain current and new vendor files and attain all necessary vendor information
• Assist with new property acquisitions such as transferring utility accounts
• Assist with year-end reconciliations and special projects as requested

Requirements

• AP/AR Accounting experience required 
• Ability to process high volume of invoices
• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in accounting preferred 
• Some experience in property/real estate accounting preferred 
• Experience with Yardi Voyager accounting software a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Great attention to detail
